Welcome - I'm so excited you're here!

I’m Emma, an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC) all about nourishing your body and mind with a sprinkle of fun and oodles of compassion. My mission? To make food less complicated and stressful, bring back the joys of eating and strengthen your body image or ease the pain you might be experiencing.
 

Food is 100% my love language and I would probably fight someone for any type of biscuit covered in chocolate. I have a slight obsession with dogs and my favourite thing to do is travel and experience all the cultural differences (including the foods of course).
 

So, if you’re seeking a dietitian with a fun approach who ultimately wants to help you bring back the joy with nourishing your body without a side of confusion – I might be your match!

what do i do?

Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED) - ANZAED Eating Disorder Cre

I help forever yoyo-dieters around the world take action and break up with their restrict-binge relationship with food and instead fall head over heels into their new effortless, enjoyable and balanced relationship with food. 

My mission is to provide long-term and high touch support to my clients so they can TRULY spark their own change and in one breath continually work to prevent eating disorders in the future.

 

Because I know this is one hell of a ride and it's not always easy, but I got you.

I use a non-diet approach when it comes to my practise and love to embrace a mixture of motivational interviewing techniques, CBT and DBT skills based on the evolving presentations of my clients.
 

I truly believe and understand there is no one size fits all and strive to adapt and work with your individualised situation. I use a collaborative approach in my therapy and help you unpack your eating behaviours at a deeper level. I believe YOU are the expert on yourself! I am simply there to assist and guide you to truly living in alignment with your values and your goals.

I love to have flexibility in sessions depending on what is working for you or not and, pride myself on actively listening to you and weaving sessions to accommodate for your needs. I prefer a visual or activity-based learning style and getting you actively involved in participating with ideas and solutions (because you truly do know yourself best!).

I AM INCREDIBLY PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING INDIVIDUALS FEEL CONFIDENT IN THEIR FOOD CHOICES AND BANISHING GUILT, SHAME AND ANXIETIES AROUND FOOD.

I BELIEVE FOOD SHOULD BE ENJOYED. DELICIOUS. AND FUN!

I WANT INDIVIDUALS TO FEEL CONFIDENT IN THEIR OWN BODIES, TO LOVE FOOD AGAIN AND TO TRULY UNLOCK THE NOURISHMENT IT BRINGS IN ORDER TO INVIGORATE AND ENERGISE THEIR BODIES.
